Science Accelerator

Access: Publicly available resource

Description: Science Accelerator searches science, including R&D results, project descriptions, accomplishments, and more, via resources made available by the Office of Scientific and Technical Information (OSTI), Department of Energy.

Science Acceleration replaces the GrayLIT Network, a comprehensive portal to Federal gray literature. Grey Literature has been defined on the Grey Literature Network Service as "Information produced on all levels of government, academics, business and industry in electronic and print formats not controlled by commercial publishing, i.e. where publishing is not the primary activity of the producing body." (Luxembourg, 1997 - New York, 2004, GL conferences).

Many technical reports and other grey literature are available through the Library of Congress Technical Reports and Standards Unit (TRS) . Reports can also be found in the general collections of the Library by searching the LC online catalog .
