Description: The Astrophysics Data System (ADS) is a NASA-funded project which maintains four bibliographic databases containing almost 4 million records: Astronomy and Astrophysics, Instrumentation, Physics and Geophysics, and preprints in Astronomy. Include links to scanned images of over 40,000 journal articles appearing in the major astronomy and astrophysics journals. Also provides access/pointers to astronomical data catalogs and data archives.

The U.S. Naval Observatory (USNO) Data Services provides data for:

  • Sunrises, Sunsets, Moonrises, Moonsets, and Twilights
  • Phases of the Moon
  • Eclipses and Transits
  • Positions of the Sun and Moon
  • Data for Solar System Bodies and Bright Stars
  • Dates:
    • Earth's Seasons - Equinoxes, Solstices, Perihelion,and Aphelion 1992-2020
    • Spring Phenomena, 25 BCE to 38 CE
    • Julian Date Conversion
  • Celestial Navigation
