Description: Search and retrieve information relating to amphibian biology and conservation. Offers ready access to taxonomic information for recognized species of amphibians in the world, including species descriptions, life history information, conservation status, literature references, photos and range maps for many species. AmphibiaWeb contains over 5,000 species, for which there are over 1,200 species accounts, 1,100 distribution maps, 3,400 literature references, 100 sound files, and 5,900 photos of 1,500 different amphibian species.

Created in conjunction with the Digital Library Project at the University of California, Berkeley.
