American Indian Anti-Meth Campaign
ONDCP has partnered with Health and Human Services, Department of Interior's Bureau of Indian Affairs, Partnership for Drug-Free America, and the National Congress of American Indians to launch the first ever anti-meth public service campaign targeted towards the American Indian and Native Alaskan populations. The radio and print ads are available as free public service announcements to support anti-meth efforts in your community.

Balancing prevention and treatment

The purpose of the Anti-Meth Campaign is to prevent meth use, dispel the myth that meth treatment does not work, and get people who need help into treatment.

All Methamphetamine Purchase Prices: Domestic STRIDE Data, April 2005-September 2008   Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), December 2008. This resource presents methamphetamine price and purity data captured by the DEA's System to Retrieve Information from Drug Evidence (STRIDE) study.

National Drug Threat Assessment 2009   National Drug Intelligence Center (NDIC), December 2008. This interagency assessment provides a strategic overview and predictive outlook of the threat to the United States from the illicit trafficking and use of methamphetamine and other drugs.

Living in Shadows: The Innocent Victims of Meth State(s): Wisconsin       United States Attorney's Office - Western District of Wisconsin, November 2008. This DVD-documentary aims to bring attention to the child victims living in drug environments. It focuses on several courageous individuals from across Wisconsin who grew up in drug endangered homes and have agreed to share their personal stories.

NOVA 2009 State(s): Texas       The Dallas Chapter of the Texas Association of Addiction Professionals. Date: January 21-24, 2009. Location: Dallas, Texas. This conference will feature 2 sessions related to combating methamphetamine.

Methamphetamine Prevention Forum State(s): Arkansas       Date: January 23, 2009. Location: Little Rock, Arkansas. This Forum will convene and educate county elected officials from the Southeast and Midwest regions of the United States and their community treatment and prevention partners on effective strategies to reduce methamphetamine use.

Crystal Meth and Cybercrime: Dangers in Our Communities State(s): Michigan       Date: January 23, 2009. Location: Lansing, Michigan. This conference will provide an overview of crystal methamphetamine, efforts to control its spread, and cybercrime.
