@overlobe thanks. hoping the addition arrives in next few days. I take the family to CanUX, but wouldn't haul them to the IA Summit or Ix09
@betsyweber still waiting on Banff confirmation, but that's the plan. We will have to figure out the Stampede thing to hang out in 09 ;-)
Better Place launches social 10 word 'minifestos' -pressure Detroit & Washington to invest in electric car infrastructure http://bit.ly/OJud
@steveweiss but whether or not there should be a Safari (books) client for DS? Maybe? Kindle's genius is wireless content delivery ecosystem
@steveweiss there's a market of DS owners who read (see Brain Age, etc). Project Gutenberg content lowers risk for piloting ebooks for sure
@adampatterson ~ 10 minutes to replace my dell notebook MB when it died a couple years back.
@jlax so who's the genius at FordEurope's AOR?
@jlax that is awesome. best Top Gear I've ever watched...."I am now breaking the speed limit indoors". thx. http://tinyurl.com/5gwmw4
not my usual thing: like reality shows with participants who are actually smart & clever? check @WritingHannah in http://tinyurl.com/4y2jwv
@steveweiss I think the market is more the folks buying Brain Age than Sponge Bob Squarepants. More important - pilots DS as Ebook platform
@steveweiss Kindle's not a better home for ebooks for Nintendo :)
@dkachman CanUX07! yeah! sometimes the spatial list worked great other times it was more frustrating than just threading the aisles in order
@rotkapchen oh, I have too many domains sitting that I want to do something with someday I have a hard time criticizing someone for that ;-)
@JeromeR That 10 participants thing for utest = 80% problems is so not true. See Molich's CUE studies and Spool's work on participant #s
@dennisbreen she is trying to get me home quicker, and to limit impulse buying.
@zoomit right. though I met artist in Banff who was transposing GPS coordinates in Google Earth so you could 'walk' Paris in Toronto for eg.
@docbaty the layout shopping list is to speed me up, since I'm not as familiar with store. I think she also hopes to limit impulse buys :)
infodesign coolness of the day - my wife's spatial grocery list for me, written out on lettersize paper approximating floorplan of store
@johnolilly Adobe AIR, 1995 Java VM. Of similar models, no homeruns (yet). GOOG has more staying power/weight to pull it off than others
@jcookaz the iPhone / Walmart rumors are true but the $99 price isn't from what Engadget can see in a leaked circular posted yesterday. $197
