Economic Policy
National Farmers Union supports the development of local and federal economic policy that allows farmers to get a profit from the marketplace, ensuring they can continue to run their businesses. Sound economic policy benefiting rural America will in turn benefit consumers throughout the nation, who depend on the countryside for a safe, independent supply of high quality American food.
NFU’s policies address the federal fiscal policy, federal and state tax policies, and the regulation of banks and credit unions.
