Congressman Snyder Announces 2006 Interns

Little Rock, AR – United States Representative Vic Snyder announced today the selection of Summer 2006 interns for his offices in Washington, DC and Little Rock. Congressman Snyder’s summer internship program is a valuable opportunity for young people to gain work experience while learning about the legislative process of the federal government.

“I was very pleased with the applicants for our summer internship program this year,” said Congressman Snyder. “Congressional internships not only facilitate greater knowledge of our representative government, but they also complement college education and make for more competitive job applicants. I encourage students in all areas of study to apply next year.”

The following persons will intern in Congressman Snyder's Washington, D.C. office:
Kristin Atkinson of Conway, Rebekah Gardner of Shirley, Jared Green of Hot Springs, Eileen Hengel of Conway, Kelly Hill of Benton, Pierce Nixon, III of Little Rock, Brent Pettingill of Morrilton, Tabitha Reed of Clarksville, Margaret Smith of Conway, Kelsey Stroud of North Little Rock, and Lisa Westbrook of Bryant.
