In what would be a bold reversal of former CEO Sandy Weill's original vision for the banking giant, Citigroup Inc. is reportedly in advanced talks with Morgan Stanley to run both banks' brokerage arms as a joint venture, with Morgan eventually acquiring Citi's Smith Barney.
