David Fisher named Director of BTA
Paul A. Brinkley, Deputy Under Secretary for Business Transformation, announced on February 22, 2007, the appointment of David Fisher as the first official Director of the Defense Business Transformation Agency (BTA). Mr. Fisher has been the Acting Director of the BTA since November 2006. He has also served as the Defense Enterprise Integration Executive and the Director of Transformation Priorities and Requirements within the BTA.
Mr. Fisher noted that two of his main goals as Director include institutionalizing an enterprise perspective on business transformation and continuing the maturity of the BTA. He remarked, "The most important thing we need to do is execute on our commitments."
