A bit past the Noon hour on January 15, 1929, a son was born to the Reverend and Mrs. Martin Luther King, Sr. The surroundings of home, church and neighborhood is where Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. experienced the love of family in a Christian environment, and segregation in the days of “Jim Crow” laws, with diligence and tolerance.

(Washington, DC) The Rivers, Trails and Conservation Assistance Program (RTCA) has announced this year’s 231 new projects, by state.
