The National Center for Education Statistics of the U.S. Department of Education has a Search for Private Schools which allows searches for private schools according to many criteria, including type of school, location and association affiliation. All private schools in the fifty States and the District of Columbia (but not in the outlying areas) that participate in the Private School Universe Survey are included on the locator.
