CFC Recognizes NRCS Staff and Under Secretary Rey

NRCS staff and Mark Rey, Under Secretary for Natural Resources and Environment (NRE) were honored recently at an awards observance, Salute to Combined Federal Campaign of the National Capital Area Super Heroes and Heroines!  Mark Rey  received the CFC Leadership Involvement Award for his outstanding leadership and personal commitment in his role as Vice-Chairman of USDA’s 2004 Combined Federal Campaign. NRCS writer-editor Mark Bushman and Resource Conservation & Development Program National Manager Terry D’Addio both received the NRCS Merit Award for their outstanding support of the agency’s Combined Federal Campaign effort. Mark and Terry introduced a number of innovative events to raise money for CFC including a dunk tank where employees bought balls for a chance to dunk NRCS, NRE, and Departmental officials.
