Coca - Cola and English Solutions Win 2008 CSR Excellence Awards
AMCHAM was pleased to award the 2008 Corporate Social Responsibility Excellence Awards to Coca - Cola (Open Category) and English Solutions (SME Category) at the Membership Monthly Luncheon on November 26th at the Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel. Held for the second year in a row, the awards provide recognition and raise awareness for AMCHAM member companies which employ the best practices for demonstrating an understanding of the linkages between business operations and society, while conducting business in a way that creates both long-term economic and social value. In Memorium of Jack Scott, 1916 – 2008
Jack Scott, an Honorary Member of The American Chamber Of Commerce In Thailand (AMCHAM), died on 5 December 2008 at his home in Southern Pines, North Carolina at the age of 92. Jack was Executive Director of the Chamber for ten and one half years, from 1972 to 1982. Click here for the complete obituary.
