The most important source for bibliography of books and articles concerning Brazil is the annual Handbook of Latin American Studies (http://lcweb2.loc.gov/hlas/) produced by over 160 contributing editors under the editorship of the Hispanic Division of the Library of Congress. Additional coverage of journal articles can be found through a subscription to the Hispanic American Periodical Index (http://hapi.gseis.ucla.edu/). Both the Handbook and HAPI are available in selected libraries in book form. Brazilian Society of Cinematography includes information on the association, texts, publications, and related links. In Portuguese.

Associação Cultural Videobrasil (http://www.sescsp.org.br/sesc/videobrasil/site/home/home.asp)
A major reference center for electronic art in Brazil, as well as one of the most active centers for international interchange among artists, curators, and theoreticians. Videobrasil also produces an annual series of documentary films, promotes research and educational activities, and has a complete online electronic art database, chiefly with information regarding the southern circuit. Part of the project "Cinema Brasil na Internet." Links to the Brazilian movie NetDataBase which provides free summaries of nearly 500 feature films. Cinemateca Brasileira has the largest collection of films from Latin America, with works of fiction, documentaries, journals, publicity, fgamily records, from Brazil and abroad. Also presents information on preservation, events, partners, friends society, links, and more. In Portuguese.
