Comic Book Requests
- The deacidification program for comic books is under way!
During this time, it will be more difficult to get comic books.
Readers should call ahead (202-707-5690) if at all possible
and allow 48 hours for retrieval. Many titles are available
on color fiche. These should
be used instead of originals whenever possible.
- You will need to complete the comic book request form and include
the titles and box numbers you want. These can often be found in the
Online Catalog.
- You might also want to search
the Online Catalog for reprints in the general collections.
Publishers sometimes publish a completed series in book form. There
are also anthologies, both in the general collections and in the Newspaper and Current Periodical Reading Room reference collection, that may be helpful to your research.
