  5. Congressional Quarterly's "Congressional Voting Guide; A Ten Year Compilation" provides a list of the latest hundred or so votes by each Congressperson. It's call number is JK1051.B67 199x.
  6. The official source of Congressional votes is the Congressional Record. Votes are known as roll calls. There is a paper index to the Congressional Record. To use this, look under "Votes in House" or "Votes in Senate" in each of the 15 to 18 separate indexes that come out each year.
  7. If the vote you are looking for is very current, look at the "box scores" that appear in the back of each issue of Congressional Quarterly (known as CQ). The latest year of CQ's are located at the Circulation Desk in the Newspaper and Current Periodical Reading Room (LM133). CQ is also available in the Law Library (LM201).
  8. If the vote is older, you may find them by consulting the separate "Roll Call Index" in the back of the annual CQ Almanac. These are available in the Newspaper and Current Periodical Reading Room reference collection, call number JK1.C66 X-Copy
  9. Commerce Clearing House's Congressional Index (KF49.C6) has a very good "voting records" section. It lists by subject and chronologically.
