National Public Health Information Coalition

The National Public Health Information Coalition (NPHIC) is the proud co-sponsor of the National Conference on Health Communication, Marketing, and Media.

NPHIC is the nation’s only organization dedicated to the advancement of public health communications with the goal of “making public health public.” NPHIC members around the country make public health communications more effective, illustrate the importance of public health, and share information on the best practices in the field. Its mission is to serve as the primary channel through which directors and practitioners in local, State, Federal, and territorial public health agencies share communications best practices, techniques, and strategies for the benefit of the public.

The expertise and talents of NPHIC are as varied and strong as its membership. Activities include training and serving as frontline spokespersons, campaign strategies and message development to meet strategic goals and reach desired audiences, preparation and delivery of positive and protective public health information. NPHIC members counsel and prepare public health leadership, thus making them and the organization a strong and invaluable source by which public health goals and objectives may be achieved.
