NAGPRA
Training
The
National NAGPRA program offers a variety of training opportunities
for individuals who are interested in better understanding and implementing
NAGPRA.
The National NAGPRA Program sponsors one-day NAGPRA training at least twice a year. These training courses generally take place at the site
where the Review Committee is meeting, and either immediately precede or follow the meeting.

The National NAGPRA Program also can provide training at the invitation of a hosting group, at a location and time convenient for the host. The Program prepares a set of training materials and certificates of course completion, and sends Program staff to the training site. At the host's discretion, the Program can advertise the training on this web page. In return, the host pays the costs of the instructors' travel, lodging, and per diem, and the copying costs of the training materials.
Please direct your inquiries about both National NAGPRA Program-sponsored and invitational training to David Tarler (telephone 202-354-2108).
The National NAGPRA Program also participates in training sponsored by the National Preservation Institute and other associations.
