Architecture
The overall architecture for PHIN is currently in evolution. The Public Health IT
landscape is changing and working to harmonize with national HIT initiatives. Disciplines,
such as Enterprise Architecture are being increasingly leveraged. Adoption of industry
practices, such as Service Oriented Architecture are gaining momentum in public health IT.
