Teaching Ambassador Fellows exchanged ideas with Department of Education staff in several sessions during the four-day summit.

Laura Bush took part in a lively discussion on education policy on Day 3 of the summit.  Fellows Steven Berbeco of Massachusetts and JoLisa Herbert of Texas were seated on  Mrs. Bush’s right. Deputy Secretary Ray Simon met Fellow Hector Ibarra of Iowa at an evening reception honoring the Fellows.
The Fellows gathered for a group photo following their tour of the White House.
