Background

I have worked as an agronomist with SCS/NRCS since 1980 at the area, state and NTC level, as an agronomist at the Information Technology Center, Fort Collins, CO, and at the National Cartography and Geospatial Center in Fort Worth, TX. I have expertise in nutrient management, erosion prediction and control, residue management, pest management and animal waste management. I am part of the National Employee Development Center instructor cadre for conservation buffers training and nutrient management training. I manage the process of reviewing, revising and updating National conservation practice standards, and provide training to Center and State Office employees in how to write and revise conservation practice standards.
