This teacher guide for grades 5 to 8 introduces students to archeology. It is published by the Office of the State Archeologist, The University of Iowa.

This education kit teaches students to analyze primary sources such as reproduction artifacts, letters and other documents.

"Everything We Know About Archeology For You to Use in Your Classroom"
This packet prepared by the Archeological Assistance Division of the National Park Service for the Heritage Education Fair in 1990 includes essays on archeology in school programs and educational theory. Lesson plans on protecting archeological sites and coordinate geometry are also useful.

is a 1991 collection of symposium papers covering the teaching of archeology.
