Jaundice / Kernicterus - Partners |
The Kernicterus Prevention Partnership Campaign (KPPC) is a
collaborative effort among government agencies, national organizations,
and private-sector health care and consumer organizations. The KPPC
formed around a common goal to prevent all new cases of kernicterus from
occurring in full-term or near-term babies born in the United States.
The KPPC developed materials to educate expectant parents and women of
childbearing age about partnering with the health care system to ensure
a safe experience with newborn jaundice and to prevent new cases of
kernicterus.
