AASA Calls on Lawmakers to Invest in America’s Schools
The AASA Advocacy and Policy staff are meeting with lawmakers to ensure education has a place in a federal stimulus package. Staff gave lawmakers and Obama Transition Team officials a white paper on ready-to-go public school projects that would both stimulate a stagnating economy and improve schools for all children.
