Workgroup activities include monthly telephone conference calls, development of tools to benefit TB educators, marketing of TB ETN, and planning the annual conference. Conference PlanningCo-chairs: Sherry Carlson, Washington State Department of Health and Kelly Smith, Francis J. Curry National Tuberculosis Center This workgroup plans for and assists in coordinating the annual TB ETN conference. Membership DevelopmentCo-chairs: Carolyn Bargman, Denver Metro TB Clinic and Mildred Blackstone, Arizona Department of Health Services This workgroup focuses on increasing TB ETN membership, communicating to members the TB ETN activities, providing information on professional development opportunities, and marketing TB ETN. Cultural CompetencyCo-chairs: Martha Alexander, NYC DOH - Bureau of TB Control and Beth Kingdon, Minnesota Department of Health This workgroup coordinates training and education resources and activities to support members in ensuring cultural competence in TB programs.
