The site administrator and site facilitator are defined as separate functions and the functions may or may not be performed by the same person.
 
A site administrator is responsible for:
  • identifying downlink sites
  • registering sites for courses
  • monitoring participant registration
 
A site facilitator is responsible for:
  • coordinating with site technician
  • preparing the site for the satellite broadcast
  • distributing materials, if needed
  • assisting participants at the site as needed
  • returning optical scan forms to CDC, as needed
