Not a blog but a pseudo blog.
The “Directors View” is not a typical blog where entries and comments are updated on a regular basis and comments are not reviewed before posting. This is a “pseudo blog” where entries will be updated every two weeks or so and comments will be moderated and reviewed before being posted to protect privacy and decorum (but not to limit debate or differences in opinion). We will not be using blogging software at this time, so we are creating this page manually.

What is the purpose of the Injury Center’s blog?
The purpose of this blog is to foster public discussion about injury and violence prevention and response and gain perspectives of those we serve. We want to engage you — our partners, colleagues and customers — in our discussions and exchange ideas with you.

What will the director be talking about?
The Injury Center director and others will post entries about injury and violence prevention and response-related topics. The focus will be on Injury Center priorities, science, and research as well as partnerships.

What kind of comments are accepted?
We expect participants to show respect and consideration to the authors and others using the blog. All comments will be reviewed before posting. We will not post comments that contain vulgar language or offensive terms that target specific groups. We will not knowingly post comments that infringe on copyrights, are spam, are clearly off topic, or that promote services or products. We will not accept funding solicitations through this blog. Links to external sites will be deactivated. Comments that make unsupported accusations will also not be posted.

How often will the blog entries and comments be posted?
Every effort will be made to post new entries in a timely manner, usually once every 2 weeks. Comments will be posted regularly and can be expected to appear during business hours Monday through Friday.
