Speaker Biography: Neil Gaiman has been one of the top writers in modern comics, best-selling novelist for adults and children and a writer for television and films. He was the creator-writer of the monthly cult DC Comics series Sandman, which won many awards including a World Fantasy Award. His novel for adults, "American Gods," was awarded the Hugo, Nebula, Bram Stoker, SFX and Locus awards. His most recent books for children include the picture book, "The Wolves in the Walls"; the international best-selling novel, "Coraline," a winner of the Bram Stoker Award and the Hugo Award; and "The Day I Swapped My Dad for Two Goldfish."
