Directions for Use of PDF Documents

If you need help using the PDF documents that were designed for printing and distribution, please read below.

  1. All documents found on this site require the use of Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0 or higher, which can be downloaded for free at www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html.
  2. Get Acrobat Reader (free)

  3. For best results and picture clarity, print the original draft with a high-resolution (dpi) color printer. If one is not available, go to a professional printshop. You can then bring the disk or have the printshop connect to the Internet and then print the *.pdf file.
  4. Once the original draft has been printed, you can make copies on a color copier or high-quality black-and-white copy machine. For best results, it is recommended that a professional printshop print both the color and black-and-white copies.

Possible problems

When printing, does the document seem to shrink and not line up properly (especially the brochure)?

If so, once the *.pdf file is open, click on FILE, and highlight PRINT. Once a window pops up, uncheck the box titled, "shrink oversize pages to paper size."
