2006

The U.S. Geological Survey in Menlo Park is hosting an Open House, June 2 - 4, 2006.

At the USGS Open House, a very popular interactive activity is "Dress Like a Marine Geologist."

Participants don maritime field attire and are video captured against a green screen background. Using a chroma key unit, an "at sea" scene replaces the background. The image is placed on the web.
