Our transcription: There are three basic types of converging plate boundaries, and this is based on the types of crust that are involved on both sides of the converging boundary.

The first type would be an ocean-ocean convergence zone, and a good example would be the Mariana trench and islands.

What we see in this area is that there is a volcanic chain above the convergence zone.

In this case, an ocean-ocean convergence zone, typically of the lavas that are erupted are a little more basaltic than what you see in a continental area.
