Then you finally get to the point where you put the final bit of data into your computer and calculate your age. At that point it all comes to somewhat of a crescendo, and you get very excited, and there it is finally, you have your results. Sometimes you're totally surprised, sometimes you're disappointed, and sometimes you're elated with your results. And then the final, of course, aspect of it is really applying the age data to your actual geological relations.
