Film on the Song of America Tour

The Library of Congress celebrates more than a century of American filmmaking creativity by sharing selections from its unparalleled motion picture collection. For film venues along the tour, the Library will offer a customizable touring package of 35mm prints for public screening. The movies include those named by the Librarian of Congress to the National Film Registry, a compendium of films deemed to be of special "aesthetic, cultural, or historic" importance and those worthy of (and in need of) preservation. Titles include:

Please note that this package is limited to theaters with reel-to-reel projection and, where applicable, variable speed projectors for exhibition of silent films.
