Speaker Biography: When J.A. Jance was introduced to Frank Baum's "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" in the second grade, she knew she wanted to be a writer. She is The New York Times best-selling author of the J.P. Beaumont series, the Joanna Brady series, and three standalone thrillers. Her latest J.P. Beaumont novel is titled "Justice Denied" (William Morrow/HarperCollins, 2007). She lives in Seattle and Tucson.
