Speaker Biography: Cat Cora, the first female on Food Network's smash hit "Iron Chef America", attended the Culinary Institute of America and trained with such celebrated chefs as Larry Forgione, George Blanc, and Roger Vergé. As president and co-founder of Chefs for Humanity, she has spearheaded a number of charity events, including Hurricane Katrina relief efforts in New Orleans and in her native Mississippi. Her latest book is "Cooking from the Hip: Fast, Easy, Phenomenal Meals" (Houghton Mifflin, 2007). She lives in northern California.
