The Institute of Mathematical Economics is part of Bielefeld University, located in Germany's North Rhine-Westphalia. It serves as a regional center covering economic theory, operations research and econometrics. Among the topics covered are game theory, general equilibrium theory, operations research, social choice, decision theory and economic design. Methodologically, the focus is on mathematical modelling and computer supported experiments, procedures, and algorithms.
