Locate By State/Agency: Pacific Northwest Agricultural Safety and Health Center
The Pacific Northwest Agricultural Safety and Health (PNASH) Center works closely with employers, workers, health professionals, and government agencies to identify hazards and implement solutions that will prevent or reduce work place injuries and illnesses in Northwest farming, fishing, and forestry. Most of PNASH's research energies are in the field, where they explore health concerns such as injuries, noise and vibration risks, chemical exposures, skin disease, and respiratory disorders. PNASH is committed to injury and illness prevention, which directs their efforts to improve risk communication and the development of practical interventions. PNASH operates in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Alaska to meet with agricultural communities, conduct professional education and present the findings of their research.
