Description: Columbia Granger's World of Poetry is the definitive source in English for locating a poem in anthologies. The database contains 250,000 full text poems and 450,000 citations, as well as poetry commentary, poets' biographies, and literary glossary terms. Indexed by title, first line, last line, author, subject, and searchable by keyword and by author category (Asian-American, Irish, Polish, etc.). Advanced search supports searching by gender, language, poem form, school, era, nationality, and cultural identity.

Poems can also be compared side-by-side with the poem comparison utility, and listen to Audio readings of selected famous poems. The site also includes Poet's Book of Days calendar, Quote of the Day, and Poetry Trivia.
