This issue of the Information Bulletin is dedicated to the National Digital Library Program, which aims to make freely available on the Internet millions of materials from the Library's unparalleled collections of American history and culture, as well as those from other institutions. The issue also focuses on electronic initiatives of other areas of the Library, as the institution moves toward the year 2000 and its bicentennial.
