term "anywhere" is not used in the YRBS questionnaire; students are simply
asked how many times in the last 12 months they had been in a physical
fight. Population sizes from the Digest of Education Statistics, 2005 (NCES
2006-030) for students in grades 9–12 are 13,093,000 students in 1993;
13,697,000 in 1995; 14,272,000 in 1997; 14,623,000 in 1999; 15,061,000
in 2001; 15,723,000 in 2003; and 16,286,000 (projected) in 2005.
