Investigation Dispositions, 2006

This pie chart shows the percentages of investigation dispositions. More than one-quarter, (28.6%) of reports included at least one child who was found to be a victim. Included in the victim percentages were alternative response victim (0.4%), indicated (3.0%), and substantiated (25.2%). More than 60 percent (60.5%) of reports were found unsubstantiated (including intentionally false).
