Maltreatment Types of Victims by Report Source, 2006
This table lists report source, by the two categories of professional and nonprofessional, and displays the number and percentage of victims by disposition. The first column lists report source, then each subsequent column lists the number and percentage of victims by disposition. The dispositions are: neglect, physical abuse, medical neglect, sexual abuse, psychological maltreatment, other, and unknown. 47.3 percent of physical abuse victims were reported to CPS by educational personnel or legal and justice personnel.
