Living Arrangement of Victims, 2006
This table displays the marital status in the home of the child victim. The first column lists the living arrangement categories. Then the number and percentage of victims within each living arrangement are displayed. Living arrangement categories include: married parents; married parent and stepparent; unmarried parents; parent and cohabitating partner; both parents, marital status unknown; single parent, mother only; single parent, father only; single parent, mother and other adult; single parent, father and other adult; nonparental relative caregiver; nonrelative caregiver; group home or residential facility; and other setting. Approximately 26.7 percent of victims were reported as living with their single mother.
