What is Professional Specialty Group (PSG)?

FIS PSG Structure FIS PSG Structure At the first national FIS meeting in November 2003, business and information technology representatives from across all of the participating organizations formed professional specialty groups (PSGs) to further pursue the FIS goals

At the November 2003 meeting, the PSGs worked to identify objectives, success factors and priorities for their groups under the umbrella of the FIS goals. They will be refining those objectives in early 2004. A Draft PSG Policies document provides additional background on the roles and responsibilities of PSGs. It is anticipated that other PSGs will form, but only as sufficient staff resources are available.
