This document contains a working draft of the updated
identification guide to the medically important mosquitoes
of Louisiana. Included are illustrated dichotomous keys
to the genera, and to the adult females and 4th instar
larvae of the medically important species in each genus.
Also included are illustrated guides to the anatomical
terms used in the text of the keys. The keys and illustrations
were adapted from existing taxonomic keys in the literature.
