| We are the Head Start Grantee for Clay, Platte, and Jackson Counties in Missouri and serve 2,733 HS/EHS children and their families in greater Kansas City. Our Governing Board is the Board of the Mid-America Regional Council which is comprised of 33 members who are elected mayors, councilmembers, and county commissioners. They are appointed to the MARC Board by their jurisdiction. Because of this configuration, we are exempt from some of the reauthorization regulations.The questions for us are:1. Does anyone have a "conflict of interest" statement they would share?2. Does the "conflict of interest" need to be signed or can it be attested to on an annual basis?3.
