National Book Festival: A ‘Moving’ Idea
Posted on: August 23rd, 2007 by Matt Raymond
I think this is great:
For the third year in a row, the Friends of the James V. Brown Library [in Williamsport, Pa.] are sponsoring a bus to take local book-lovers of all ages to the National Book Festival.
You might know Williamsport as the birthplace of the Little League World Series. Pardon the awful pun, but I think the idea of taking buses or caravans to the National Book Festival is a home-run!
Let us know of any other opportunities that will help large groups celebrate their love of books and the written word on Sept. 29 on the National Mall.
On a related note, stay tuned for tons of podcasts with interviews of NBF2007 authors roughly twice as many or more podcasts as last year.
