What's New with Operation Lifesaver in 2009?

It's a new year, and Operation Lifesaver program leaders across the U.S. are working hard to educate the public about the need for safety around tracks and trains.

Several states - including Georgia, North Carolina, and Ohio - have unveiled OL's new "Shark" public service campaigns, available in video and audio format. (See the link to the Shark PSAs below.)

Two regional workshops are also planned for 2009. Safety advocates in New England and Western states will gather to share information on reducing crashes in local communities. See the events page for more information on these meetings.
