Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS)

  Web site of ECOWAS, available in English, French and Portuguese (under development), with a description and structure of the organization, country profiles of each of the fifteen member countries, with publications, press releases, meetings and conferences.

International Monetary Fund

  Chronicles the activities of the U.N. • United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)

• African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA)
  U.S. Department of Commerce web site covering all aspects of the African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA), including reports, statistics, news of legislation, the text of the AGOA acts, amendments and forums, trade links, and additional resources.
• Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC)
  The web site of the Millennium Challenge Corporation, a government corporation set up to administer the Millennium Challenge Account (MCA), provides an overview and background information on its mission and work. The site also includes FAQs, documents, reports, press releases, speeches and testimony, fact sheets, country data and guidance for developing proposals.
• USAID: Sub Saharan Africa Overview
  Web site of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) contains an overview of information on activities in Africa, regional activities and initiatives, country information, testimony, speeches, press releases, policy papers, etc. Search capability is included.
• U.S. Department of State - Bureau of African Affairs
  Includes links to official statements, press briefings, fact sheets, and links to other related Internet sites. Includes an index for individual country profiles and a link to the archives 1997-2000.

World Bank
