Work Objectives:
- To assist the major functions of the CDC Global AIDS Program collaboration in South Africa in strengthening the capacity of the Government of South Africa, The South Africa Medical Research Council, and the local non-governmental organizations, to develop a series of rapid assessment technology training workshops.
- To assist in technical assistance to the South Africa Foundation for Alcohol Related Research (FARR) prevention activities at the University of Witwatersrand.
- Provide data management technical assistance and data analysis support to the FARR at the University of Witwatersrand, in association with the National Health Laboratory Services.
- Work closely with representatives of the CDC Global AIDS Project Team to identify opportunities for collaboration and resource sharing.
